这边指的是1944年2月16日 - 17日
阿贺野在特鲁克港北方遭受美国潜水艇魔鬼鱼号（USS Skate, SS-305）的雷击。
后来发生火灾而无法继续航行，后来至17日时转向沉没。
接收到阿贺野求救讯号的那珂从特鲁克岛出发，
最后却是由追风（2代神风型驱逐舰）救助了阿贺野的幸存船员。
那珂与追风在17日归港途中遭受美军航空队的空袭，最后也分别于17日与18日沉没。
