When Jeremy Lin went down earlier in the preseason, it allowed
Ronnie Price to step into the starting lineup, where Price took
advantage of his opportunity with some very solid play. When
Lin returned, he came off the bench and had excellent chemistry
with some of the second unit, leading many to wonder who would
start when the regular season finally began.
Unfortunately, injuries once again helped to decide some things
as Price was hurt in the Lakers last preseason game, making it
a little easier for Byron Scott to name Jeremy Lin as the opening
night starter at point guard via the Lakers official Twitter page:
