Hi,
I will go to your hotel as I planned, however, since I am taking a long
flight to Japan, I am not sure I could check in around 6 pm if there is any
flight delay. So I am writing this mail to ask that how long will you hold my
reservation? Hopefully the schedule will be fine, but is that ok if I check
later than 6 pm, like 8 pm or 9 pm or later?

我的理解是：
可以改Check in时间 (但是怎么改<囧> )
然后即便没改，本来6点的Check in就会最晚等到9点
