教育部于109年1月7日接获立法院陈学圣委员来函，希望于今(8)日提供英国伦敦自由中国
中心(即驻英代表处)73年7月10日英代(73)新296号来函及附件影本。教育部兹就上开公文
经调阅结果公开说明如下：
教育部为办理国立政治大学“扩大延揽旅外学人回国任教案”推荐蔡英文女士之任教资格
补助案，于73年6月21日以台(73)文23675号函请英国伦敦自由中国中心查证蔡英文女士之
博士资格，经英国伦敦自由中国中心以73年7月10日英代(73)新字第296号函复本部，“经
查蔡英文君之英国伦敦大学政经学院博士资格属实”，并随函检附英国伦敦大学1984年7
月5日信件，信件内容如下：
“I have pleasure in confirming that Ing-Wen Tsai was awarded the degree of
Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Law on 14 March 1984 the Field of
Study being International Trade Law and the thesis being entitled "Unfair
trade practices and safeguard actions" as an Internal Student of The London
School of Economics and Political Science”。
