“I invested in Twitter as I believe in its potential to be the platform for
free speech around the globe, and I believe free speech is a societal
imperative for a functioning democracy,” Mr. Musk said in the letter to Mr.
Taylor sent on April 13.
“However, since making my investment I now realize the company will neither
thrive nor serve this societal imperative in its current form,” he wrote. “
Twitter needs to be transformed as a private company.”
简短的说就是，Musk觉得言论自由是让民主社会正常运作的基石
但是Musk在他投资推特后(他有 9.2% 推特股份)，
他觉得这公司在现行的状态下不会朝着成为这基石的方向前进。
Musk觉得推特必须成为私人公司而非上市公司
虽然Musk唬烂的话也讲过不少，但他上面那讲法并非空穴来风
因为推特现在CEO Parag Agrawal上任的时候，就提过
“Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment, but our role is to
serve a healthy public conversation and our moves are reflective of things
that we believe lead to a healthier public conversation"

简单的说就是跟前任CEO Jack Dorsey 相比，
他觉得应该调整把言论自由放为最优先的方针该调整
实际上很多人相信CEO之所以换人当就是因为在这方针上有差异。
而只要推特是上市公司，那就避不开营利问题。
所以把公司变成私人公司，就可以避免遇到这种问题。
Steam 目前就是这种状态，所以不算太鸟SJW在那边鸡鸡歪歪
当然可能有人会怀疑“Musk买下去不就都不能讲他坏话”
但从Musk过往的表现看起来，我觉得他可能真的是想维护一个言论自由的平台啦
如果不是...那也只是推特没用了而已
不过这个案子不知道能不能就这样直接买
总觉得应该要经过某些审查？
