Ethan Gutmann, the author of The Slaughter: Mass Killings, Organ Harvesting, and China's Secret Solution to Its Dissident Problem, came to Taiwan selling his book and accused the professionals ,Wen-je Ko, former ICU Chief physician, professor of Surgeon department of National Taiwan University Hospital, who is the Taipei city Mayor in Taiwan now, deeply involved in China Falun Gong organ harvesting. The accusation was denied by Dr ko and Taiwan Falun Gong society immediately. Dr. Ko used to testify
China government for organ harvesting in Gutmann’s book publish 2008 and which led Dr. Ko forbidden to China 2008~2013 by China government. Dr. Ko has extensive clinical experience in extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation，ECMO， and also the first man in the world applying this system to saves numerous emergent and major trauma patients' life. Gutmann came to Taiwan selling his book and intended to interfere the Taipei Mayor election which will be hold in the futures 52 days
