美国癌症协会(ACS)发表声明 电子烟比一般菸品危害较少
并建议临床医师支持所有可戒除一般菸品的方法
对于(不想采用一般传统方式戒菸的)抽菸人士
应鼓励转换到伤害最小,相对健康的产品
完全转换到电子烟比继续抽菸来的好

The American Cancer Society’s (ACS) board of directors issued a new position
statement on e-cigarettes, stating the products are “less harmful than
smoking cigarettes” and recommending “clinicians support all attempts to
quit.” These individuals should be encouraged to switch to the least
harmful form of tobacco product possible;
switching to the exclusive use of e-cigarettes is preferable
to continuing to smoke combustible products.
