美国前联准会主席柏南奇在一场演讲提到如下

Now suppose that a modern alchemist solves his subject's oldest problem by
finding a way to produce unlimited amounts of new gold at essentially no
cost. Moreover, his invention is widely publicized and scientifically
verified, and he announces his intention to begin massive production of gold
within days. What would happen to the price of gold? Presumably, the
potentially unlimited supply of cheap gold would cause the market price of
gold to plummet. Indeed, if the market for gold is to any degree efficient,
the price of gold would collapse immediately after the announcement of the
invention, before the alchemist had produced and marketed a single ounce of
yellow metal.
意思就是说不用真的发明炼金术，只要宣称炼金术已经发明了，金价就会崩跌
一个中国也是同样的意思，中国早就放弃武器侵台了，因为这是成本最大的做法
它只要不断在国际上强调一个中国，塑造出台湾问题不是国际问题而是国内问题
加上马英九这个了尾仔在国际场合帮忙认证，
不用真的实现统一慢慢地大家就会认为台湾已经是中国一部分了
这样打不打战已经没意义了，已经变成内战的情况下，外国没资格干预
美国凭什么干预，又或者它为什么要干预
普丁强行进入了克里米亚时美国有做什么吗？
不要期待美国一定会帮台湾做什么？这是很不切实际的幻想
我个人认为啦
台湾短期内可以维持
但是长时间来看台湾不可避免地要和中国和平统一
因为台湾要独立的最佳时机点早就过去了
人民自决这种东西你说现在公投我还没把握独立可以超过一半咧
而且效力在哪？裁判球员都是中国的人
