Volcanic activity continued on Thursday at Mount Hakone, a scenic hot spring
resort near Tokyo.
在周四 在箱根山的火山活动继续，东京附近的一个风景秀丽的温泉度假胜地。
Officials at Japan's Meteorological Agency are warning of a possible minor
eruption that could affect areas around the Owakudani hot spring district.
日本气象厅官员们警告说，1个可能的次要爆发，可能会影响大涌谷温泉区周围地区。
The agency issued a near-crater warning for areas around Mount Hakone on
Wednesday.
The Owakudani and Kamiyama districts have been the site of increasingly
frequent volcanic earthquakes since April 26th. The quakes are minor but
relatively shallow.
自 4 月 26 日以来, 大涌谷区和神山町区 已经成为越来越频繁的火山地震地点。

Twenty-four earthquakes were felt by 6 PM on Thursday.

The number of quakes decreased compared to Tuesday. But the agency officials
say the number has been growing compared to before April 26th.
Active steam continues to burst from hot spring facilities in Owakudani.
Accompanied by seismic activity, crustal movements measured around Mount
Hakone since late April have indicated a swelling tendency.
The Meteorological Agency on Wednesday raised the volcanic alert for Mount
Hakone to level 2 on a scale of 5.
Agency officials are warning people around Owakudani that in the event of a
small eruption, rocks could be spewed from the volcano. They are asking
people to obey the town's request to stay away from potentially dangerous
areas.
