在准许我成为医界的一员时
At the time of being admitted as a member of the medical profession
我郑重地保证自己要奉献一切为人类服务；
I solemnly pledge to consecrate my life to the service of humanity;
我将要给我的师长应有的崇敬及感戴；
I will give to my teachers the respect and gratitude that is their due;
我将要凭我的良心和尊严从事医业；
I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity;
病人的健康应为我的首要的顾念；
The health of my patient will be my first consideration;
我将要尊重所寄托给我的秘密，即便病患已经身故；
I will respect the secrets that are confided in me, even after the patient has
died;
我将要尽我的力量维护医业的荣誉和高尚的传统；
I will maintain by all the means in my power, the honor and the noble traditio
ns of
the medical profession;
我的同业应视为我的弟兄姐妹；
My colleagues will be my sisters and brothers;
我将不容许有年龄、疾病或残障、信仰、原籍、性别、国籍、政党、种族、性倾
向、社会地位或其他任何因素的考虑，介于我的职责和病人间；
I will not permit considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic
origin,
gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social s
tanding or any other factor to intervene between my duty and my patient;
我将要尽可能地维护对人类生命的尊重；
I will maintain the utmost respect for human life;
即使在威胁之下，我将不运用我的医学知识去违反人权与公民自由。
I will not use my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil libertie
s,
even under threat;
我郑重地、自主地并且以我的人格宣誓以上的约定。
I make these promises solemnly, freely and upon my honor.
