其实如果原po一开始有先读问句,认知到这题是假设题,
并且预测出对假设题的正确思路时,就不会被E选项混淆了。
那么,什么是实战中对这题正确的处理方法呢?
1. 先读题目问句,发现是假设题。
2. 假设题有两种可能的答案:主动假设与被动假设。
(1) 主动假设:衔接断桥。

约20%的假设题是走这个方向。“不一定”以否定字眼写出来。
(原po可能是以为假设的答案都要用否定字才会避开C)
如何发现是主动假设?观察点为:结论中出现其他句中没有出现的新概念。
所以这时候应该要主动留意结论中是否有其他句没有出现的概念。
这里你会发现是“an interest in culture and the arts”(有兴趣)
因此,C选项有直接将“有兴趣”连到证据中所述的“有program的学校”,
再连到“学业表现高分”。完成衔接断桥。
而E选项提到的opportunities to develop interest...非但没有衔接断桥,
反而还创造了一个新概念“opportunities”,也就是多断了一座桥:
“谁说‘有机会发展兴趣’就等于‘有兴趣’?”
