6/14在巴黎举行的 World Motor Sport Council (WMSC)会议有以下几点宣布:
World Endurance Championship (WEC) 部分
＊ 2020年LMP组技术规则加入由厂商以道路用车开发为主的"Hypercar"规格
参赛车辆除了经过批准外，必须在两年内生产至少20台
此外，也会实施性能平衡(BoP)使不同类型的车辆能够在同一水平上做竞争
该法规预计目标是车辆在Le Mans赛道比赛上的单圈时间约为3分30秒
(今年LMP1 #7竿位时间3分15秒, LMP2 #28竿位时间3分25秒
LMGTEPro #95竿位时间3分48秒)
