Editor’s Notes: Li-Ning’s Furious Rider ACE, the silhouette that took the sneaker world by storm when it was first unveiled a year ago, arrives in two tonal colorways at Canadian retailer SSENSE. Li-Ning sneakers are usually difficult to find outside of China, making the Furious Rider ACE’s availability at SSENSE a big deal. The triple black colorway was previously available at Atmos Tokyo earlier this summer.
The silhouette is inspired by the brand’s classic running shoes from the ’90s, albeit with a new visual interpretation. In addition to being an on-trend throwback to the ’90s, the Furious Rider ACE was the first Li-Ning sneaker to feature on the Paris Fashion Week runway, and has since been succeeded by a number of eye-catching models.
