as were只是要与前面的weren't recognized 跟 were checked做呼应呢?

比较像是套用形容词子句的连接词，如which 可形容前面的名词或加逗号取代前面子句。文法书在介绍形容词子句时，很少提as某些惯用法可归在此类。
