最近在复习学生时期的笔记(其实已经忘光了)
其中,写到
I don't believe the words which he says.
=I don't believe what he says.
This is the place in which I met John.
=This is the place where I met John.
有些困扰很久的问题~
首先,
问题1.
为什么the words which=what, in which=where
我的意思是...the words which 怎么跟 what 做连结?
因为很难记, 过两天就忘了!
常听到老师说xxx=xxx 当时OS: 哇勒~~谁会知道两个是相等的!
会不会哪一天又冒出另一个? XD
问题2.
在一般常用吗?
我们一般会把原意翻成英文, 会刻意将xxx取代成xxxx吗?
因为the words which换成what不是句子更看不懂吗?
如果不是考题,句中突然写what/where反而觉得很怪?>"<
关系代名词反而看得懂.
可否请大大分享一下学这种文法的心得,及精神在哪?^^"

连结还蛮自然的; what 不必然是 the words whichbullshit 不也可以

中文也会追求字数比较少 但是又能完整表达的方式呀

应该是what=the thing which，the thing会在不同地方，可指不同的东西，若指说话内容，the thing 代表the words蛮合理的，但what文意理解上不需要再用关代来想，用what+直述句来想
