曾经参与过Criminal Minds、Big Hero 6的Daniel Henney确定加入改编自畅销系列的史诗
奇幻影集The Wheel of Time。
他将在剧中饰演al'Lan Mandragoran (Lan)，或是 Lord of the Seven Towers、Lord of
the Lakes、True Blade of Malkier、Defender of the Wall of First Fires、Bearer
of the Sword of the Thousand Lakes、May He Sever the Shadow、Dai Shan。
也是Aiel所认识的Aan'allein，以及无冕王以及殒落的Malkier王国皇室的唯一幸存者。
他将加入先前所宣布 Josha Stradowski、Marcus Rutherford、Zoe Robins、Barney
Harris、Madeleine Madden以及Rosamund Pike等人之列。
Will Poulter将加入Amazon的魔戒影集，且是饰演主角角色
根据Variety的独家报导，曾演出Midsommar、The Maze Runner及Black Mirror:Banders
natch的Will Poulter确定加入Amazon正在制作的奇幻史诗影集The Lord of Rings。
该篇报导指称，Poulter将在剧中饰演主角，只是Amazon并未透露其他相关细节。
本剧是由JD Payne与Patrick McKay两人担任总编剧，率领包括Gennifer Hutchison
(Better Call Saul)、Jason Cahill(Halt and Catch Fire)、Justin Doble(Stranger
Things)等；前两集将由Juan Antonio (J.A.) Bayona执导。
是一出已经获得5季预定且外加可能的衍生剧的作品。
先前已经宣布确定的演员为Markella Kavenagh。
