It's a game for survival.

Today is March fifteenth, 2018.
It's raining and I don't feel
delighted not because of
the humid weather
but because of the news
from the Gossiping board.
I got to admit that
I am fond of reading news there
for the humorous remarks
and witty netizens.
However, it's not what I
expected to encounter for today.
I read two pieces of news,
making me feel furious and depressed.
Actually, it is the reason why
I am writing it down in English
since I could not do it in Chinese
Gosh!
It takes courage.
The first one is about a kid,
who was bullied at school.
Owing to being teased as an ugly and fat boy, he couldn't stand it
and committed suicide.
He died at the age of 12.
I hate to say it but it is true.
Life sometimes is a game
for survival.
A twelve-year-old boy walks into
the school, what do you imagine
he may get?
True friends? Knowledge?
A beautiful Thursday?
Negative.
Bullying.
I am terribly sorry to tell the truth.
If he is in the USA, probably a
gun shot may occur
unexpectedly in campus from time to time.
Is it too exaggerating?
Perhaps.
A boy in the world is strong,
which is not enough.
He has to be strong, physically,
mentally, and even spiritually.
That's because it's a game for survival.
He needs to exercise regularly
and build up his strength.
He needs to be confident
enough to ignore all the
unfriendly remarks.
He needs to be taught that
this world is never as beautiful
as his mind.
He needs to know how to
protect himself from being hurt.
He needs to know it's right to
fight back when he is under attack.
I can't imagine that how he feels
when he walks into the school,
but I do know those bullies
show no sympathy for his death.
They don't care, little boy.
Little boy, they don't care not
to mention the sense of guilt.
There is no karma, is there?
The police even can't put
the kids behind the bars.
No one gets punished, and
that's it. A name is erased,
and It's all.
Those who love the little boy
are heart broken.
Those who bully him are still
indifferent and look for next
victim.
As time goes by, people forget
him and it's just a story in the newspaper.
Will something like this happen again?
Without a doubt.
