Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has completed a season-long loan move to
La Liga side Real Madrid.
Kepa arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2018 from Athletic Club and
established himself as first choice during his debut season.
He made 54 appearances during the 2018/19 campaign, which ended with Chelsea
lifting the Europa League trophy.
The Spaniard would go on to make a further 109 appearances for the Blues over
the next four seasons, and was involved in our Champions League, UEFA Super
Cup and FIFA World Club Cup triumphs.
Last term, Kepa was handed the captaincy for the first time and
re-established himself in the Spain squad.
The club wish him well for the season ahead in Madrid, where he will work
with former Chelsea head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
