《太阳报》报导，切尔西准备出台新规打击种族歧视，反犹太者将被送往奥斯维
辛集中营接受教育，以便他们转变对犹太人的态度。
切尔西的老板阿布拉莫维奇就是犹太人，他觉得，要从根本上改变有种族倾向的
球迷的观念，还是应该对他们实施教育，而不是单纯地禁止他们入场观赛。
俱乐部主席布鲁斯˙巴克表示，“如果你禁止这些种族歧视的球迷入场，你永远
改变不了他们的行为。我们现在出台这个新的措施，就是要给他们机会去认识到他们
的所作所为，让他们未来能有更好的言行。”
“在过去，我们会把这些有种族歧视行为的球迷请出看台，会禁止他们入场看球
三年。而现在，对这些球迷我们会说，‘你做错了一些事情，你可以选择，我们可以
禁止你入场，你也可以跟随我们的工作人员去一趟集中营，那样你就会意识到自己的
错误。’”
“如果有50到100人在看台上高呼种族歧视口号，你很难处理，把他们一起赶出
看台，这是很不现实的。 But if we have individuals that we can identify, we
can act.”
A Chelsea delegation attended the annual March of the Living at Auschwitz
in April. And in June that was followed up by an official trip of 150
Blues supporters plus club employees to the notorious Nazi death camp in
Poland. Holocaust survivors have also given talks to the first-team squad.
Buck added: “The trips to Auschwitz were really important and effective
and we will consider more as well as other things that will affect people.
We want to convince other clubs to do their own things and make a real
dent in what is still a problem.”
It is understood Chelsea are so committed to the project they will cover
all costs. The idea has been backed by the World Jewish Congress, the
Holocaust Education Trust and leading Jewish scholar Rabbi Barry Marcus,
who told the launch meeting: “Banning doesn't work.”
Buck replied: “It took us five years to find that out. A year ago, Roman
sat down with senior people at the club and had a conversation. He had
noticed an increase in anti-Semitism around the world and directed us to
see what we could do implement a long-term project to combat it.”
A hard-hitting film is at the forefront of the new campaign, launched at
the House of Commons this week. The film, the brainchild of Chelsea fan
and comedy writer Ivor Baddiel, is introduced by BBC presenter Jeremy Vine
and former England star Eni Aluko.
