Willian previously told Brazilian reporters that he is happy at Chelsea,
but did not commit to starting the season at the club. “I am very happy
at Chelsea and I am very happy living in London,” he said.
Willian's absence from pre-season training contrasts with the attitude of
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who reported for duty yesterday after a matter of two
weeks since his World Cup ended. Loftus-Cheek's contract states that he is
entitled to a three-week holiday every summer.
