The Belgian has been in fine form for the Bundesliga outfit and the Blues
claimed they had a buy-back clause when they initially announced the deal
last year
Chelsea do not have a buy-back clause inserted in Thorgan Hazard's contract,
according to the Belgian's club Borussia Monchengladbach.
The brother of Blues superstar Eden Hazard has been in sparkling form this
season with seven goals and three assists in just 11 matches, including a
goal against Barcelona in the Champions League.
But the Foals' Director of Sport, Max Eberl, has moved to quash speculation
that Chelsea could poach their former player back in the January transfer
window.
"There is no clause. There is also no end date of anything [to trigger a
clause]," Eberl told German outlet Express.
"But we also need to make no secrets from it: If we get a top player from
Chelsea, then Chelsea has of course again and again the possibility [to bid
for the player], but actually there is nothing active!"
