In the early ages of civilization, most people believed that the world was
flat. Many adventurers bravely sailed off on trips across the ocean
anyway, and they returned - never falling over the edge. The point is that
just because someone - or the majority of people - do not believe in a
concept or an idea, that does not make it impossible or untrue. You have
faith in something now that is being shaken because others think that it
is preposterous and impossible. They can come up with rational reasons to
say that you are wrong. Keep believing anyway, Moonchild. The world is,
after all, not flat.
