You would love to move beyond a hurt that you feel is dragging you down. Your
feelings were bruised and it has made you feel resentful or sad or wistful.
If you spend a lot of time lingering in thoughts of despair or melancholy, it
will only make you feel worse. Since you can't change what has already
happened, all you can do is learn from it and put it into perspective.
Try to find some happy ways to spend your time rather than letting sad thoughts
go round and round on a conveyer belt in your mind. Only then can you make
good memories to take the place of bad memories.
