约一年前，一名ID为hiticonic的reddit用户上传了一张地图，
宣称这将是泰坦天降的大逃杀模式，仅得到14条回复：

This. It literally looks like someone stitched all the maps from the first
game together.
A large scale Titanfall game would only work with a RTS style IMO. I can't
see it working as a PUBG/Fortnite-esque game. Certainly would be interesting
though if it is legit.
Honestly I think the battle royal games out there now suck, but I would play
the fuck out if this (if it's real).
在Apex人气窜起后，有人回想起了这次准确的泄漏，
怀疑hiticonic是重生工作室的内部员工，想以泄漏的方式宣传新作；
也有人认为hiticonic是因为对新作的游戏设计不满而离职的员工，
在离职后爆料以引起玩家对大逃杀的不满；实情如何目前无法得知。
另外差不多在去年同一时间，也有人在4chan上精准爆料，
泰坦天降的大逃杀新作名为Apex，游戏模式将是3人队伍、共60名玩家。
