所以上来请教各位英文老师
题目如下:
Many people got injured in the area （which ）the earthquake hit.
为什么这题是用which 而不是用where 呢？
还请各位前辈指教

关代which代替先行词area作为关系子句中hit的受词，若使用关系副词where，则及物动词hit欠缺受词，会让关系子句结构不完整。

in which=where

是hit the area , 不是 hit in the area没有介系词不需用where
