By the dates listed above, customers should no longer access Microsoft 365 apps and services using IE 11, but we want to be clear that IE 11 isnt going away(1) and that our customers own legacy IE 11 apps and investments will continue to work. Customers have made business-critical investments in IE 11 legacy apps and we respect that those apps are still functioning.

也就是微软自己的云端服务要停止支援IE11,当然建议用户最好改用Edge Chromium.
但IE11作为Windows系统元件享有同样的支援周期,期间内仍然会有安全性等支援.
(Edge Legacy并不是Windows系统元件只是Home/Pro预载App,所以明年三月就要被宰掉了)
所有需要IE11才能动作的网站一如以往,就是继续多开一个窗而已.
