Resident Evil 3 在上市前一周被有些法国人抢先拿到游戏并在串流平台上玩，
而就有了以下新的泄漏游戏详细内容及过场影片及 boss fight 对战影片。

1. 整个游戏长度为五个半小时至六小时。
2. 游戏有三种难度可以选择（辅助 Assisted/ 标准 Standard/ 硬派 Hardcore）。
3. 硬派模式下完成后可以解开恶梦 Nightmare 难度（敌人、物品位置不一样）。
4. 恶梦模式完成后可以解开地狱 Hell 难度。
5. 完成游戏后将解开一间商店，可以在里面买造型、无限子弹及提升武器攻击强度，像
Resident Evil 5 一样使用点数来兑换。
6. 医院变得大很多、很多。
7. 新的实验室地区 NEST 2 会比 RE:2 的更大、更恐怖。
8. RE:2 幽灵生存者中的白色僵尸 Pale Heads 会在 RE:3 实验室 NEST 2 中出现。
9. 有一个在实验室中剧情会与 Resident Evil 4 Leon 与 Luis 作战（第二章节-2）相
似。
10. 没有墓地巨虫 Grave Digger, 乌鸦, 蜘蛛。
11. 有挑战模式可以让你获得金币 (coins) 去升级防御力与攻击力。
12. 时钟塔不能进去，Jill 只能在外面和第二形态 Nemesis boss fight。
