White Sox sign Adam LaRoche to two-year, $25 million deal
The White Sox have signed first baseman Adam LaRoche to a two-year, $25
million deal, Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY reports. LaRoche had previously
drawn interest from the Marlins and Padres.
LaRoche, 35, became the odd man out with the Nationals despite having a
productive 2014 season, as the club is moving Ryan Zimmerman over to first
base. LaRoche batted .259/.362/.455 with 26 home runs and 92 RBI.
