Newcastle是英国著名老牌大学之一，也是著名的罗素大学集团的成员，
长久以来被认为是英国最好的二十所大学之一
★ Newcastle成立于1834年，当时为医学与外科学院，曾由伦敦大学授与学位

学校位于Newcastle upon Tyne市中心，是一座十分友善且充满活力的城市，
这里也有大众运输系统及一座国际机场，由Newcastle搭火车至爱丁杜堡只需1小时、
Glasgow 2小时、伦敦或曼彻斯特约3小时。
Newcastle也曾被票选为英国第一名的大学城。市区内有一座小型中国城，有各式各样的
中国式餐厅和超级市场，距学校约只需步行5-10分钟即可到达，也有一座传统市场，
让来自各地的学生随时都能买到最新鲜的食材自行料理。
