New car continues test programme

The new A1GP World Cup of Motorsport car for the 2008/09 season continued its
intensive testing programme this week with two days at the Autodromo Enzo e
Dino Ferrari in Imola.

Following on from successful tests at Fiorano, the Ferrari test track in Italy,
Andrea Bertolini has been back behind the wheel of the Powered by Ferrari car,
putting it through its paces at Imola.
在Fiorano测试成功后，Andrea Bertolini再度回法拉利的驾驶座，接着把车子放在Imola
跑跑看。(Fiorano：法拉利在意大利的测试赛道)
This is the first time the car has run outside the confines of Fiorano but
feedback continues to be positive with the car running on both Tuesday and
Wednesday.
这是车子第一次在Fiorano以外的地方跑，星期三和星期四的试跑的结果还不错。
Testing will continue next week with five-days running scheduled at Guadix
Circuit, a recently constructed facility in Spain. The three-kilometre track
near Granada has a good mix of fast and slow corners with varying cambers and
a 750-metre main straight set against the stunning back drop of the Sierra
Nevada mountains.
接下来，下星期会在西班牙盖好没多久的Guadix赛道进行为期五天的测试，这条在西班
牙 Granada附近的赛道，长三公里，有着良好的高低速弯及多样弯角的搭配，还有一条

“We’ve completed about 900-kilometres of testing so far and everything is
going relatively smoothly," said A1GP General Manager, technical and
operations, John Wickham.
经理John Wickham说：“到目前为止我们完成了900公里的测试，还算顺利。”
"The car is performing very well and the driver is happy with it; the balance
is good and the tyres are working well. We haven’t done as much testing as we
hoped but that’s partly because we were waiting on the weather at Fiorano.
“车子的表现非常好，车手满意，平衡佳，轮胎运作良好，不过目前测试还没有如预期中
的多，有部份是因为Fiorano的气候的关系。”
"We ended up just running in the rain in the end but the car looked very
quick in the wet! In general the car has been very reliable. We look forward
to five consecutive days running next week with the tight Guadix Circuit ideal
for further testing of the handling of the car."
“最后试跑结束前正好遇到下雨，车子在雨中看起来还跑的挺快的！大致上车子已经是相
当可靠了，很期待下星期连续五天的试跑，严峻的Guadix赛道是进一步测试操控性的理想
地点。”
The official pre-season testing for all the teams will take place at
Silverstone on 18 – 20 August 2008 and Mugello on 17 – 18 September 2008.
