想求助一句关于高中英文文法
不知道自己的想法是否正确
句子为文章中的一句话 如下：
这段主要在说这个人很认真
（上文 He paid attention to even the small details.)
He would work long hours each day,
editing song lyrics and planning different special effects.
（下文 Many nights, he would convice his wife to sleep on his office couch.)

我觉得用would V, Ving, Ving较能够表达 连续一贯动作的表态，其它文法没问题

之前看到书上的解释是..and he edited...and planned..不知道有比较正确吗？ 谢谢回答喔
