The Koester Nano Device Laboratory
(https://people.ece.umn.edu/users/skoester/) is seeking a postdoctoral
researcher to work on a project involving fabrication of cryogenic MOSFETs
for logic and memory applications. The work will strongly be focused on
device fabrication and so significant experience in semiconductor device
processing and integration is needed. Experience with lithography
(electron-beam, optical), atomic layer deposition, reactive ion etching,
evaporation, sputtering, and annealing, are important. Additional experience
with device characterization (I-V, C-V, low-temperature measurements) and
Synopsys simulation software for device and process modeling would also be
helpful.
The position will offer the potential for submission of research results to
high-impact journals as well as conferences such as IEDM and VLSI.
Compensation will be commensurate with background and experience. The
position is available immediately.
