The Memphis Grizzlies fired head coach J.B. Bickerstaff on Thursday and point
guard Mike Conley is confused by it.
星期四灰熊开除了总教练J.B. Bickerstaff后，队上控卫Mike Conley不是很懂为何。
On Wednesday, general manager Chris Wallace told reporters at his
end-of-the-season press conference Bickerstaff was coming back. Then on
Thursday, Bickerstaff was let go and Wallace was reassigned to another role.
星期三在赛季结束记者会上，总管Chris Wallace还跟记者们说Bickerstaff下季会回来，
但是星期四的时候，Bickerstaff就被开除了，然后总管Wallace被转派到别的位置去。

The Grizzlies almost traded Conley at the February trade deadline. Memphis
did ship center Marc Gasol. They sent him to the Toronto Raptors.

Conley had a nice bounce-back season in 2018-19 for Memphis. He averaged 21.1
points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 43.8 percent
from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the
free-throw line.

Conley only played in 12 games in 2017-18 because of a heel injury. It was
nice to see the veteran guard play this season and get back to his old form.
Now, the question is will Conley be back in Memphis next season. People
expect the Grizzlies to trade Conley in the summer so they can start a full
rebuild and build around young big man Jaren Jackson Jr.
