联盟：延迟比赛规则为确保进攻方利益

近日，联盟负责裁判工作的副总裁Joe Borgia在官网上解释了新赛季将引入的关于“故
意延迟比赛”的规则。
“I’ve heard some of the announcers during the preseason saying we’re doing
this to speed the game up and that’s just not true,” Borgia said. “We’re
doing it because the new offensive team is being deprived of the opportunity
to inbound the ball. [The new interpretation] might pick up the pace a little
bit, but it has nothing to with making games go faster. It’s simple, don’t
mess with the ball after a successful basket.
对于这一规则，大多数的人认为，这是为了加快比赛的进程，但是Borgia则表示这不是
他们的目的：“我们这么做是为了确保进攻方能够及时地开球，这个规定也许会加快一
点比赛的节奏，但这和缩短比赛的进程没有关系。这条规则很简单，得分后不要去碰球
就行了。”
“And it’s like I said, our players are very smart. They will adjust to
these new interpretations. And they will adjust quickly. Officials have to
adjust as well. And they will.”
“就像我之前一直说的那样，我们的球员都很聪明，他们会适应新的规则，而且他们会
很快地做出调整，裁判们也需要作出调整，他们都会做好的。”
“故意延迟比赛”规则是指，当A队完成得分后不允许有任何形式的故意触球 （包括将
球传给裁判），如果在某场比赛中有违反这一规则的话，第一次违例将会被裁判警告，
之后的每一次违例都将被判罚一次技术犯规。
