Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said in a radio interview
Monday that the club will call up third base prospect Joey Gallo
on Tuesday.
Advice: Adrian Beltre is set to miss the next 2-3 weeks with a
dislocated left thumb and the Rangers have decided to promote
their top prospect to fill the void. Daniels stressed that he
expects Gallo to return to the minors once Beltre returns. But, of
course, if the slugger tears it up they could always change their
minds and find another spot for him. Gallo is batting
.314/.425/.636 with nine homers and 31 RBI for Double-A Frisco
this season. He's worth an add in all formats, though it's
certainly possible he's not ready to handle major league pitching
yet.

他是100条子的做法其实可以理解 不管如何明年Gallo几乎肯定上大联盟 而今年条子的主要目标是确定/巩固明年先发阵容 如果进季后赛更好 明年目标就是直接冲击季后所以与其到时再拉他上来增加不确定性 不如藉这次机会预先开阔他的视野 这对新秀养成来说并非坏事 崔哥回来后 他下放的可能还是很大(是要让他观光 不是rush他) 如果一切顺利 九月就会再上来 之后就应该不会再下去了 简单说反正今年的运用不可能让年资满一年 所以用来促入球员发展也是影响不大

他在小联盟连续两年打破各方质疑 持续修正自我缺陷虽然K rate依然偏高 但是BABIP却也居高不下 现在上来的话三振多是一定的 但全垒打却应该也不会少尻

这只高中时期当投手可以丢mid-90 根本猛....
说他是100是因为许多球探表示Gallo是他们看过power最好的小联盟选手 在20-80系统中平平都是80 但若用100分的系统 Stanton是99 Sano是98 Howard是97 当然这只是某些球探的说法 事实如何 等他上来就知道囉^^
