According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, free agent Jon Lester is choosing
between the Cubs and Giants.
The Red Sox and Dodgers have apparently dropped out of the mix due the rising
price tag, which is currently believed to be in the $140-150 million range.
Though it's worth noting that Lester's agent is denying Boston is done.
Lester is expected to make his final decision on Tuesday. The 30-year-old
left-hander should create a domino effect for other major free agent signings
once he settles on a team.
