MLB.com's Thomas Harding said Carlos Gonzalez' patella tendon damage "has
increased slightly."
That development was discovered after CarGo visited Dr. Thomas Hackett on
Wednesday. The outfielder, the team and doctors will meet Thursday to discuss
what that might mean for Gonzalez' outlook the rest of the way, but it's
obviously not good. At this point, the Rockies might be best-served to shut
him down for the rest of the season in hopes of having him back and healthy
for 2015
