NEW YORK –All around Mets starter R.A. Dickey, as weeks of contract
negotiations have turned to months, his peers appear poised to cash in on a
baseball industry flush with cash. Yet he remains without a contract
extension, feeling “disappointment” over the lack of progress in talks with
the Mets, and admitting “it’s hard” to avoid feeling insulted in the
process.

“I feel like we’re asking for even less than what’s fair,” Dickey said
Tuesday morning at a Citi Field holiday party, where he and teammate Ike

The Mets are willing to offer Dickey $20 million on top of his $5 million
option for 2013. That’s a three-year deal worth $25 million – or what
Kansas City paid for Jeremy Guthrie this offseason. Dickey would prefer a
package worth closer to $31 million, according to people with knowledge of
the situation. The people requested anonymity in order to speak freely about
the situation.

老投手确实不容易拿到长约，但是平均年薪也不能太过分吧
数据上都支持他不是只猛一年了-_-,这种BR得到的数据就有
办法证明不止猛一年,球团大佬拿得到数据难道无法消除他们的疑虑？
