You may have had a talk with someone when you expressed to that person what
you need from them. You might have gone into detail. You might have been very
articulate. Even so, it may seem that this person still isn't giving you what
you need. Could it be that they weren't really listening? Could it be that
they don't understand what you need even though you think you were very
clear? Or maybe they are just choosing to ignore your requests. You could
keep guessing or you could go directly to the source and ask. The shortest
distance between point "A" and point "B" is a straight line, and going
directly to the source will save you lots of pondering.
