开挖地点是索哈杰省，是埃及二十九省之一，位于上埃及，尼罗河在中间流过。属于
托勒密王朝的文物。
最高文物委员会秘书长穆斯塔法·瓦齐里表示，新发现的两座建物分别是一座类似于所谓
塔楼的砖砌建筑，以及女神神庙。
研究小组还发现了一座托勒密时代的伊希斯（Isis）神庙，伊希斯是在古王国时期
（公元前 2700 年至公元前 2200 年）首次提到的古埃及女神。
