A toilet explosion hit the city of Yulin in China's Shaanxi province on
Saturday
The blast was said to be triggered by excessive sewer gas in the toilet
One person died and seven people were injured in the incident
An explosion in a toilet block in central China has killed one person and
left seven injured.
The blast hit the city of Yulin in north-east China's Shaanxi Province on
December 31, reported People's Daily Online.
According to local authorities, the explosion was triggered by excessive
sewer gas in the toilet.
The toilet block was located in the Hengshan District of Yulin city and was
destroyed during the explosion at 4:47pm last Satruday.
Investigators said the explosion which killed one was caused by a mixture of
excessive sewer gas.
Seven people were injured in the incident however their conditions are not
said to be life threatening.
Among the seven people, two have been discharged from hospital and five
remain hospitalised due to light scratches and bone fractures, according to
People's Daily.
Footage shows the aftermath of the incident with the toilet block completely
destroyed.

爆炸原因可是能粪便与水之中的有毒气体被点燃的关系，
可以看到一面墙被炸滥，旁边的车子也受损。
受伤者目前还有五人在医院治疗中。
中国当局表示厕所的改善计画会持续进行。
