HTC表示辨识依据也并非靠指纹资料，而是“指纹下滑的特征”，因此只要感应到一半的指
纹即可，约为指尖前1/2的部份。手机并不会保存使用者的指纹资料，而是“指纹下滑的特
征”，这个特征会经过运算，加密储存在手机系统区中，一般App无法存取的地方。
如果说台湾记者爱豪洨,爱加油添醋,硬是把HTC没讲的话给掰出来,
那我们看看外媒,也是这个说法的原始来源:

HTC: The fingerprint data is stored in local memory. It is encrypted and stored
in the system partition, which can’t be readily accessed or copied. The
fingerprint data is not an actual image but fingerprint characteristics that
have been identified by a proprietary algorithm. No, HTC does not have access
to the information and the fingerprint cannot be used by a third party.
PhoneArena特地跑去访问HTC,确认一些技术细节:
1.指纹不是存成一张图片
2.指纹档案有加密
3.这个档案放在系统磁区,无法从外部读取或复制
所以是HTC敢对PhoneArena这么大的媒体说谎?
还是PhoneArena公然造谣?

HTC had a very similar thing to say, that the fingerprint data is stored in the
system partition and encrypted, cutting off access to HTC or any other third
parties. Also, the fingerprint scanner does not store a direct image of your
fingerprint,
若这个说法不正确,当初HTC也没有任何澄清或更正,
就这样放任全球媒体这样到处讲
过了整整快两年,直到今天才被踢爆
烂透了
