Amazon的奇幻新影集宣布将在8月30日(五)于全球上架，配音版(?)则在下半年度推出。
本剧衍生自监制Beacham在2005年的创作(剧本/故事)A Killing on Carnival Row。
以一个各地充斥着各种来到人间寻求庇护的奇幻生物的维多利亚时代为主场景，这些数量
不断增加的超自然生物开始与人类接触，但也产生了各种生活、爱情与自由的纷争。
然在这样的黑暗时刻，仍有希望存在，一名人类警官Rycroft Philostrate(Bloom饰)与一
名来寻求庇护的难民精灵Vignatte Stonemoss(Delevingne)在社会越来越不宽容的情况下
，仍产生了情愫。
Rycroft在侦办所遭遇过最重要的案件－ 一连串令人毛骨悚然的谋杀案时，Vignette却隐
瞒了一个会危及Rycroft的世界的秘密。
本剧其他的主要演员包括：
