on hold

With talks between Chelsea and Man Utd at an impasse, Mount is poised to
begin pre-season under new manager Mauricio Pochettino

Mason Mount will report for training and make himself available for Chelsea’
s pre-season tour of the United States if a move to Manchester United remains
on hold.

As reported by Telegraph Sport, United have left their third bid for Mount,
which is worth ￡55 million, on the table but are not inclined to enter into
face-to-face talks despite seeing it rejected by Chelsea.

That leaves Chelsea still having to decide whether or not to lower their ￡65
million valuation or allow Mount to return for pre-season next week under new

Pochettino, who starts work next Monday, is hoping that the majority of
Chelsea’s wantaway players will have been sold by the time he flies with the

Players are due to start returning to Chelsea’s Cobham training ground from

Pochettino would prefer not to take any players who are seeking moves on

One of those is Mount, but the midfielder is set to tell Pochettino that he

It is understood that Pochettino, whose Chelsea contract does not start until
July 1, has not involved himself in the Mount situation up until now, but the
