Something you recently heard or learned from someone - or in some other
way - may have left you feeling a little bit lost. Your first reaction may
have been that it shows you are less cared for or admired by someone than
you thought. It may seem that another person is more valued or trusted
than you are. But people do things for various reasons sometimes - and
often those reasons have nothing whatsoever to do with you. Before you
express your sense of loss or hurt, give yourself some time to live with
it. You may discover that this was actually a gift.
