在今（12）日击出逆转轰帮助国联夺胜的科罗拉多洛矶队捕手Elias Diaz，在赛后采访时
谈道：“这对我与家人来说意义重大。”“我对我自己，以及我一直以来完成的事，感到
非常的骄傲。能登上明星赛的舞台真是太棒了！”
Diaz借由这发全垒打仅是明星赛史上第6支8局或之后的逆转砲。也是继2003年游骑兵队
Hanl Blalock后，明星赛第1位。
而他也成为史上第24位能在明星赛的生涯首打席，就击出全垒打的球员。加入在比赛稍早
位美联击出阳春弹的坦帕湾光芒Yandy Diaz。
